CITIES RIVERS PHOTOS VIDEOS QUIZZES SCRIPT
THE PRESENTATION
Listen to Mike:
The presentation is what you have been working for. This is your opportunity to position yourself as the go-to source when it comes to River Cruising.
Of course you want to inform, educate and entertain. But above all, you want to introduce yourself as a person worth knowing. You must share your true personality openly and freely. You must be confident knowing that you are here to share your information with others.
If you were trying to pull a fast one on your audience you would have a reason to be nervous and uncertain of yourself. Nothing could be further from the truth. You are here to share and enjoy the moment. You have nothing but good intentions in mind. There is no need for nervousness. Just be you. It will work.
The slide show is designed to wet the appetite of your audience. You just have a few minutes and the background music will make viewing the video more pleasant. What your group does not want is a commercial. All you have to do is set up the “clip,” and hit the “go” button. The pictures, suggestions and music will take center stage.
At the conclusion of the show, you simply ask if there are any questions. (You might also look through the group to see who is smiling. These people will become your A-Prospects, and may warrant special and focused follow-up.)
There is a good chance that there will be no questions at first. That does not mean that the group does not have any questions. After giving the group an opportunity to raise their hand, you simply say, “In that case, let me answer the most popular question I recieve. “Can you bring children on a River Cruise?” And … “Have I ever been on a River Cruise?” (See my suggested response to this question in the “Script” section.
You can fill in a question of your own here, but your reasoning is to simply grease the skids for additional questions. Once you answer one, I assure you, there will be more.
I have stored a Presentation as a MOVIE.CLICK HERE and the presentation should automatically begin downloading to your computer as an mp4 file. You should be able to play this on your computer. When I downloaded it, it took 4 minutes. Since it is a large file, be patient. Once it is downloaded to your computer, it will play quickly from then on.
I have also included a PowerPoint (.ppt) version for you to edit as you wish. This too must be downloaded.
You will have to add your own music to your new PowerPoint version.
Here is a link to a slide show that can be edited, lengthened or shortened to your liking. POWERPOINT CLICK HERE
Note: The issue with the PowerPoint Presentation is one of clarity. Since the photos I retrieved from the web were not high quality, they will appear fuzzy as the image becomes larger. I suggest you contact your River Cruise contact to request High Resolution photographs.
The same holds true for the movie. The larger the screen, the more grainey (fuzzy) the show.
