Sales Lesson #21: Stop Talking! Guest Presenter Tom Peters (author of In Search of Excellence.)

From time to time, so as not to bore you to tears with my own ideas, thoughts and strategies, I will be inviting a series of guest lecturers to join us.

The first one is a favorite of mine, Tom Peters. You either love this guy or you hate this guy.

Why? Because he tells people what they need to hear and not just what they want to hear. Those of you who are not afraid to face reality, will probably like him. 

Those of you who fail to accept the challenge to move forward will probably dislike him

I happen to like him very much.

The video says it all. Don’t fill your silence with your own words. Be patient enough to sit tight until the other person fills the void. It will happen.
